National Security 101: Thank You Sir, May I Have Another

Today's late breaking news features an excerpt of Michael Steele's forthcoming book: "How Do We Get Colin Powell To Shut His Trap?"

I don't know about you, but I sure am relieved to know this guy is no longer serving in the world's greatest military in the history of war because, as Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) so eloquently put it, "... allowing gays to serve openly would make many service members uncomfortable."

Wow, it really is quite a relief to know that our brave men and women in uniform are being so thoughtfully protected from discomfort.

Sweet dreams pumpkin.
